Oh Menchies will you marry me? Can I marry Yogurt? Or all the delicious toppings? Menchies & I can have a fulfilling lasting relationship except I have given up sweets due to my Paleo Diet but boy do I miss Menchies. You can call Menchies my crack but I have been such a good girl & have stayed away. What gets you here isn't the numerous amounts of yogurt flavors but the toppings, oreos (yes please), almonds (why sure), tiny m&m (i wouldn't mind), strawberries (only if you give me bananas as well & yes they do have those), kit kat (yes along with any other chocolate...please see my pictures of the I'd give up chocolate but I'm no quitter). You name the topping, Menchies probably has it. Oh warm gooey chocolate syrup. My favorite thing is walking in & grabbing those little sample cups & the people who work here are quite friendly & bubbly. So if you happen to go to Menchies please devour some for me.

The yogurt was just terrific as usual. Salted caramel is so good I just can't seem to choose other flavors. Little surprised staff didn't greet me when I came in. Couldn't find the yogurt containers (hung on wall) at first. I know I must of looked lost but nobody asked if I needed help. Had to ask for help. Everything very clean and tidy including restroom. Flock of kids in the place right after school but staff was very friendly and helpful to them.

I love junk food. And for those for you that like to convince themselves that frozen Yogurt isn't junk food, well..... it is. LOL. Anyways I got a frozen Yogurt here and stacked it with all they stuff I like. They have different variety of flavours and they change it from day to day. My bowl of Yogurt looked like The Candyland Board game took a sh*t on it. It was delish. FYI They charge you by the weight of your bowl. Good for those of you that eat like a freakin bird.

Open until 11 pm and by that time they don't monitor how many samples you can try so it's all good! My only beef is that I wish they had more than 1 non dairy option.

D-lish! Lots of yogurt and topping choices. Great chalk board for kids to play with after they demolish their yogurt. Watch out for the coke-snorting male working the counter. He went to the bathroom at least 5-6 times, and came back sniffing like a man with a case of the "drips".

I'm going to keep this short and not so sweet. How the hell does Menchies not offer pistachio! I had to result in getting mounds and chocolate. Boring. The best part of the visit was when the worker tried to jump over the counter like he was saving private Ryan, got his foot caught on the scale, and tumbled to the ground before hitting the topping cart. This is the reason they received 2 stars and not 1. Don't be a hero buddy, it's just frozen yogurt. Cheers

Best Menchies ever! The staff is awesome, especially Mindy, and they always have great flavors!

Although conveniently located closer to my house than heavenly Yogurtland it pales in comparison. The flavors all sounded really yummy, but they seem to lack something.. I think maybe they were a bit watery. At 39 cents an ounce it doesn't seem like very expensive, but if you eat like I do, it can add up very quickly!! Cool points added for the fun decor, good variety of toppings and frequent buyer card!!

As good as it gets for family fun in a yogurt shop. Many, many and I mean many toppings to choose from. My 3 yr old goes here for field trips with her preschool and from what I hear they have loads of fun here. The self service aspect is different for once instead of having to order from someone behind the counter. Walk in with a smile and little patience and you will be taken care of. There is ample seating indoors or out. They are in a great location on the blvd in the middle of Woodland Hills.

If I was only rating the frozen yogurt I would give Menchie's 5 I guess, because it's kind of hard to f$#k up frozen yogurt. That said, 5 stars for frozen yogurt is nothing to write home about. If I were rating Menchie's based on the experience, I would rate it -1000. I've never been more annoyed in my life by the atmosphere, or the people. I felt like I needed a cattle prod to get the idiots out of my way. The idiots ranged from age 5 - 70+, all meandering around and bumping into one another like mindless imbeciles. Sure, this isn't the shops fault, but whatever. I'd rather get frozen yogurt from AM/PM next time.

You would havte to be a fool to pay 47 cents per oz for frozen yogurt.....

  • Jules C.

When I first started going here I LOVED it. But now not much. I hadn't been there in months and today I had it and today the cake batter tastes like dish soap. But the toppings are amazing, the outside sitting area is very nice, and the workers are extremely friendly. I recommend going to the one in Calabasas too. THEY HAVE EVEN MORE TOPPINGS.

  • Oliver L.

Watermelon sorbet yummmmm... It was short a star because the guy was sweeping while I was getting my froZen yogurt. Ew! At the end of the day, just another yogurt place but this one had 2 awesome flavors; watermelon and green apple tart. Yay for frozen yogurt.

  • Jennifer B.

Their syrups are served WARM. That is so bizarre!! Good selection of flavors -- the coffee yogurt was flavorful. I like that they are trusting with the sample cups. Because I'm used to weird one-off yogurt places in my neighborhood, I was surprised by the lack of Lychee and Taro flavors, but what can you do. Good selection of toppings, not so much on the fruit. But boooo to not having nerds toppings!

  • Natasha A.

yummy frozen yogurt! i've tried several flavors and haven't been disappointed. for you dairy-free people they had this amazing kiwi-strawberry flavor that i had last night. highly recommend!

  • Blake F.

Got rid of Banana. The only reason why I went there. :( I still go whenever my friends go though and my second favorite is the oh so exclusive "Vanilla Snow". Which tastes like chocoloate; just kidding. Yogurt is okay here, if you're into something better, walk across the street the the shopping center where there is a Yamato and there is a Yogurt Land with 16 different flavors. :D Menchies is all hype.

  • Sonia T.

It's not just the yogurt that I love but I love being able to serve myself and I love the freedom of sampling as much as I want without feeling guilty about the people waiting in line behind me. It's for all these reasons that Menchie's has surpasses Golden Spoon in my book. Go sample the wide array of flavors, pour as much or as little as you want, it's the perfect little treat esp for dieters and picky eaters alike. I'm a huge fan!

MARSHMALLOW!!!! No carbs, no sugar, that is all I will say.

I don't know how Menchie's compares to the plethora of frozen yogurt places in LA, but I will tell you that it is absolutely fabulous in comparison to the places in Boston. The large variety of flavors and topics is amazing, and they are all so good! They have small spoons and since you serve yourself, you can take samples of every flavor if you want. And the mixes they offer are great combinations and allow you to try even more flavors. The peanut butter and cookies and cream were my favorites. Be careful when adding toppings though because the price is based on weight and the toppings can make it a lot heavier. The no-fat, no-sugar-added hot fudge was a good choice to keep the frozen yogurt on the (slightly) healthier side.

  • Dawn S.

Dear Menchie's, You had me at froyo...damn you for opening a location mere minutes from my house! With your 12 daily flavors and assortment of tasty toppings (nuts, fruits, candy...oh my!), you will have me returning as often as I can for a fix. Today's selection included Georgia Peach, Raspberry Tart, Original Tart, Cake Batter, Dutch Chocolate, and 7 others I can't remember right now! I was too focused on the Raspberry/Original tart swirl. I topped that off with mochi bites (YUM!), strawberries and kiwis...and I was set! The only thing I will give you grief about is the fact that some people just CANNOT handle the whole serve-yourself-and-pay concept (but perhaps that will ease over time?)...I'm hoping it's just because of the novelty factor. I enjoyed our time together tonight, and look forward to seeing you again soon. See if you can find it in your heart to put Pomegranate on the menu next time I come around. :) Until we meet again... xoxo, Dawn "LA808Girl" S.

My favorite thing to do at Menchie's is to grab a huge handful of sample cups and try all of the flavors. The funny thing is that I've already sampled most of them the day before! That still doesn't stop me from saying, "I wonder what Strawberry tastes like!" (I figure they can afford to look the other way since I go there so much.) I've been quite impressed with how often then change out all the flavors; but, I'm always a little disappointed when they don't have "Snickerdoodle" (or my low calorie favorite: plain ol' Blueberry). Tip: take a fruity flavor like Blueberry and top it with graham cracker - it tastes like pie (kinda)! I've noticed recently that they have several classifications of yogurt that include, non fat, low fat, low carb, and no sugar added. They always have a good mix of those; so when I'm feeling guilty for having too much yogurt, I just drown my sorrows in the one that has the most of those labels stuck on it. They also have a ton of toppings including a rare "no sugar added" hot fudge. Personally, I don't like fudge, but I think it's a noteworthy option for calorie conscious eaters with a sugar tooth. I'm not one of them, but many things in Mechie's are Kosher. More or less that means that your M&Ms haven't got any cooties from touching any prime rib flavored yogurt-- err, I think. By the way, the staff are all young whippersnappers, but they're always friendly and greet me with a not-too-robotic sounding "Welcome to Menchie's." It's nice. Very nice. It feels like home. A cold, yogurt-filled, Kosher home.

I love Menchies so much I'd consider buying a chain to have one closer to my apartment! =) Well, if that happened I might also gain 100 lbs because it's so good! I like to get the fruit frozen yogurts with fresh fruit on top.

  • Caslyn H.

I have been to this Menchies multiple times and overall it's okay BUT there is cashier there that is RUDE and unfriendly. Unfortunatly he is there most of the time and It makes the buying experience extremly uncomfortable and strained especially when it's such a small place. I will not be going back here again. The Calabasas Menchies in much friendlier and I don't feel like I'm being judged.

I like to think of myself as a frozen yogurt connoisseur. I can't be positive, but I'm sure that I've been to many, if not most, of the frozen yogurt places in the San Fernando Valley. With that, I have to say that Menchie's is awesome. I've already been three times in the last couple of weeks, and I'm probably to go again in the near future. The main reason I come back, time and time again, is for the original tart and watermelon tart flavors. They're more sweet than they are tangy, but for me, strike the perfect balance. I'm not a big fan of the other more "ice-creamy" flavors like Cake Batter or Cheesecake, but that's mostly because I prefer tart flavors when it comes to frozen yogurt. I've yet to really find flavors that I really like outside of the tart ones, but I still have hope that this might change, especially since flavors are rotated on a frequent basis. The toppings station was amazing (mochi and raspberries are my favorites). In fact, the entire set-up of the store was organized and well-kept. The store hours are pretty great, too: I believe that some stores open until 11:00 on some days... great for a late night. All this in addition to the inexpensive price (I went yesterday and got myself a pretty decent size for about $3.00)... I'm sold.

So --- am totally late onto the froyo bandwagon. Given the late entry, am obviously not as good as the froyo masters at distinguishing good froyo from truly great froyo... I've two criteria for this froyo business: 1) how does the tart compare and 2) freshness of fruit. The tart here is a bit on the *meh* side. A little too sweet (but I like 'em tart). The fruit is fresh. Their strawberries were the bomb. Solid 3.5 stars!

  • Gary N.

This location seems to rarely change their flavors. I guess if you like the predictable this is the location for you. It is a little small inside, so we always get ours to go.

    (4)
  • Jasmina A.

I would have gave it a five star but read on to see what happened... When my cousins and I walked in (a HUGE group of girls) we looked like we just walked in to paradise!! In my head i was saying to myslef ''This is going to be the best yogurt EVER!!'' and it was... The yogurt and toppings were placed nicely in a semi-circle so you could serve yourself whatever you would like. I ended up getting a swirl of origanal tart and green apple tart which was both FAN-TAS-TIC!! The only problem was i was having a suger rush AND FILLED THE CUP WITH CANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh. Shame.On.Me.

What's with this location? All the other Menchie's I've been to are fantastic. This one has "icy" yogurt (think sorbet). A few flavors even taste like ice milk (you know, like that cheap frostbitten fudge-sicle you forgot about in the back of your freezer). They clearly have the air-yogurt ratio wrong, which makes me wonder how often they actually clean the machines. Worse, the venue itself is typically dirty/messy. The kids are too busy giving freebies to their friends to keep this location up to snuff. We've tried three times to be sure it wasn't just an off night. No dice! That this place is still packed is proof you can slap the word "kosher" on just about anything and the tribe (yes my tribe) will blindly drink at the trough. Our family now drives all the way to Menchie's Encino or Calabasas instead.

  • Caitlin M.

I'm sorry but I love this place. Its right by my office and I love how they give 20% off between 11-1pm M-F. I love how you can do your own tastings. At some yogurt places they do the samples for you, but here, you can sample as much as you want (within reason). I'm a fan for when I want a yogurt fix.

    (4)
  • Andy D.

I'm kind of a frozen yogurt addict... I love Golden Spoon and Pinkberry... So Menchie's has of course become awesome to me. Today they had root beer float flavored frozen yogurt, if that's not the best thing to have on a scorcher of a day, I have no idea what is. I love Menchie's

    (5)
  • Amber E.

Anyone who lives in the desert that is the Woodland Hills during the summer months knows that frozen yogurt is one way to get through the misery. This is one of the few self-serve frozen yogurt places in the West Valley. They change flavors here and there...have options for non-dairy and low/nonfat. Plenty of toppings and even warm caramel or chocolate...so amazing. Plus, being right on Ventura Blvd, there is lots to see if you sit outside to enjoy your treat.

This menchies is a great place to fail at curing your crippling depression with a fro-yo brain freeze! Yum! :-(

    (4)
  • Steven U.

Typical yogurt setup. Yogurt machines. Toppings. More pricey that other places by a little. Menchie's has happy hour for those who are free around that time.

  • Becks G.

Fresh toppings. Friendly service. Open late. Yummy

    (5)
  • Yummy C.

vanilla snow. OMFG not a fan of the tart yogurts so i avoid those here and at yogurtland but i will try them in the sample cup everytime to see if i change my mind- i have not. that also explains why im not a pinkberry fan. self serve, more expensive than yogurtland but for the vanilla snow, worth it.

    (4)
  • Lauren H.

i thought menchies had the best frozen yogurt I have tried ever! The toppings were 20 times more than any place I have been too. They switch flavors around, but I enjoyed the original tart flavor with fruit and chocolate chips mixed in. You do it yourself along with the topping bar, and its weighed by the pound. One size cups as much as you want, and mine was cheap like $3.50 for half the cup size. CHEAP!!! It is a new store, so they do have some kinks, but trust me its delicious!

  • Anne B.

This place is fantastic. A friend told me that she's become addicted, and I didn't believe her. I am a die-hard ice cream fan, the more butterfat the better, and I don't like frozen yogurt. All those pinkberries, red mangoes, yellow yoyos have just gone right by me. But Menchie's is different. There is a richness and a real flavor to their frozen yogurt. It will never be ice cream, but it's fun to eat. I like the chocolate, vanilla, boysenberry and berry sorbet. Now that we've established that the yogurt itself tastes good, let's move on to all the other factors that turn a place from "it's pretty good" to "we must stop there now!" Decor: charming. Cute Menchie-logo toys and clothes for sale. Cool music. Plenty of cute little tables, cleaned often. System: Super easy. I LOVE serving myself--I don't overeat or waste money. I've spent as little as $2.50 on a satisfying dessert. And (drumroll, please!) the toppings! Also self-serve. If you want fresh fruit, it's here. And if, like me, you want to drown your yogurt with two parts hot caramel, fudge or peanut sauce to one part frozen goody--you can. That's satisfaction. PS: One more thing to add: AMPLE parking.

    (3)
  • Erick C.

Great froyo! Great fresh toppings! I've tried the other yogurt places in the neighborhood and the quality and service here is by far the best. All the stuff is Kosher. Flavors change daily, but their are staple flavors always available like: vanilla, chocolate, and tart.

  • autumn l.

i really dont get why everyone is crazy about menchies. o wait. i do. its becuz they havent been to yogurtree!! but i would assume that people have better taste/common sense anyway! menchies yogurt is not creamy; it is icy and does not have a good flavor. their toppings are okay, but they dont have a good selection of fruit and some of the toppings are stale. their brownie bites suck, as do the cheesecake bites. AND they are a bit pricey.

  • Courtney B.

So, I have been to 4 Menchie's in my life. The one of Laurel Cyn and Riverside, Ventura and Dixie Cyn, the one in the mall in Calabasas and now this one. I have to say this is my least favorite one. This was is super tiny and it's hard to get around in. However, the one thing that I did like was that there were definitely enough seats outside, but not any inside, which sucks if you are getting some froyo in the rain... yes, people do that. I also don't know if it's the fact that there were a bunch of Taft people there saying that they were going to beat my high school because they saw my high school on my shirt. I wish this was bigger... that's the only reason, i would give it a 3, well, more like a 3.5

  • Daisy N.

never thought I'd say this but I am a big fan of menhcies.. Frozen yogurt is the way to go.. (get it) This place is clean, the staff is very nice, always there to help you out. Only one thing I would recommend is to come earlier than later sometimes they run out of hot fudge and for me, hot fudge is everything ha-ha-ha.

  • Dion J.

When our kids do well on their report cards, my wife and I take them to this location. Compared to most places in the area, it always clean and super friendly staff. It's so funny that after going there for 3 years now, they have limited seating, but as we get ready to leave we miss the big crowds coming in. I wish I was disciple like Daniel C. and walk there, but we don't! The area is really quite and great place to take your family. 5 Stars and 2 Thumbs up!

    (5)
  • Daniel C.

We usually walk here as we live in the hills so it's good exercise about half a mile each way. I like that thy have rotating flavors which makes it really good as you're getting different things constantly. The patio area to sit is also a plus as we usually sit down and devour our kosher yogurt before continuing on our grueling exercise routine ;). Staff is also friendly no attitude here like you see in many places today with Americas youth not wanting to work but just gr8 everything for free. Thanks Obama , I used to get $4.25 an hour when I was a kid and it taught me hard work and responsibility. Stop fundraising and focus on America. It's going down the drain and those who are awake are not happy about it.

    (5)
  • Yasha A.

Great place to come for frozen yogurt. Always clean inside, good flavors, and tidy toppings area. Outside patio is clean as well but can get noisy from the cars driving by so you may not be able to hear your friends talking unless they speak up. Park in the back; it's free! Don't park in the street unless you want to pay.

  • Jess A.

I would say I am an expert on froyo... Just sayin! I have frequented all of the yo joints: yogurtland, tutti frutti, wild cherry, etc. Menchies sucks. Tonight I gave it one last chance to redeem itself. Fail! They are focused on these wild obnoxious flavors. They have classic chocolate, vanilla, tart, but then everything else is on some sort of hyper dessert crack. Lemon merengue pie, cupcake batter surprise, minty brownie something. Where's the peanut butter fro? And taro? Your whipped cream is cool whip. Fruit is not fresh. Froyo is runny and drippy, sickly sweet and watery. We were asked if we wanted to donate to the make a wish foundation for some coupons... And I laughed. Why do I need coupons for a place I will never return to again? 2 stars because the employees are sweet... They can't help that they're slanging garbage.

    (2)
  • Steven B.

Yay! Ice cream! Well, yogurt but I call it ice cream and enjoy eating it just the same. The staff is always nice, and the facility clean. I've had better yogurt, but nowhere close enough that I'm going to drive just for a craving. Outside that one place, The Big Chill in West Los Angeles, Menchies has the best texture and flavors. For sure it's a better laid out store and has a friendlier staff.

    (5)
  • Kurtie M.

My wife and I come here all the time to fulfill our late night sweet tooth. This place is great, always clean and has friendly staff. Our favorite yogurt by far is the "going bananas" which they never seem to have. We would have given this a five star if they carried the banana flavor regularly. This needs to be a reoccurring staple.

    (4)
  • Al T.

Every $&%@ing time, I swear...single parent (spouse at home) and 3 rugbrats who are noisy and hog the whole area. Today one of the little squirts spilled M&Ms all over the countertop and floor while I was trying to get toppings for my yogurt. The flavors are more and more child-oriented - today they had Graham Cracker and by next time I'm sure it'll be Bubble Gum. Crazy. The best thing to do is get in there, get your yogurt to go, and leave. Spare yourself the aggravation and headache. I think I'm gonna go back to Yogurt Zone or Yogurtland down on Victory.

  • Nick C.

Menchie's has the blueprint down for a great business model. I always enjoy my visits to Menchie's. They always surprise me with new flavors, and are always consistent at delivering quality frozen yogurt. I don't even visit any of their competitors because Menchie's is just that good!

    (5)
  • Gina H.

I'm a huge fan of their flavors but this location makes me happy to drive further elsewhere. Their floors are so scummy and gross that it puts me off in wanting to ever come here again. It's the first and last thing I think of whenever I visit so I'd just rather not anymore.

    (3)
  • emily a.

Maybe it was the parking-lot underwear or maybe the abundance of children that really turned me off from getting yo at this location. Reasons why I will never patronize this establishment again: 1. I def don't dig your selection. 2. ALWAYS pre-teens sexing in the parking lot 3. Lack of fresh fruit 4. Zero Whip. 5. Unsupervised children. FAIL.

  • Nine S.

Tried Menchies for 1st time ever. Very cute decor inside. I would say that is Menchies only highlight and feature. But, their froyo is too watery and topping selections and topping quality are just alright. Only their colorful mochi topping was fresh, soft, and appealing - and worth adding into my watery froyo. Won't be back again. It's on par with Yogurtland.. maybe just a notch below. Munchies is NOT even close to the creaminess, thickness, and quality of Pinkberry froyo nor Pinkberry's high caliber of fresh cut fruit and gourmet dry toppings!!!

    (3)
  • M M.

I really love Menchies! I think the toppings really make the treat: regular and sugar free syrups, different types of cookies and chocolates, and chocolate covered strawberries. Yummy! However, some of the flavors have tasted watered down lately, and it can get pricey, especially with the heavier toppings. But go ahead and treat yourself!

    (4)
  • Sharon M.

Tried Menchies for the first time in ages and I'm not sure if my taste buds were off but most of their fro yo flavors had no taste! The only one I liked was the NSA strawberry which is surprising because I like the sugary stuff normally. Yes they have great toppings, I must admit. Especially the chocolate covered strawberries!!! Never seen that in a frozen yogurt shop before. Considering it's on Ventura Blvd, they have free parking in the back! And that's great considering it's usually hard to find FREE, close parking in that area of the blvd. Too bad their yogurt is watered down. I prefer Yogurtland or Yozen Frogurt on Platt in West Hills.

    (3)
  • Meryl K.

Menchie's on Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills is the best Menchie's I've ever been to. I've tried several in CA and even one in Maryland. The fro-yo is excellent, I can always find one or more flavors among my faves, and they have a great selection of toppings. There are two things that make this Menchie's the best. The employees are sincerely friendly, hardworking and always smiling! And the place is spotless!

    (5)
  • Tanda M.

Fell in love with Menchies when they came to Irvine. Whilst looking for a Pinkberry in the Valley, I came across Menchies instead! Still a satisfying option and the customer service at this particular one is awesome! Clean shop and rather busy!

    (4)
  • Doron K.

I think this is the only real successful frozen yogurt place that has come out of the craze initially created by Pinkberry. So many new places but Menchies is the one the kids want to go to. They have really good locations too which is important. This one is down the street from us and the place is great. Love the energy, the openness of the place and the outdoor seating. As many times as Ive tried all the flavors, I always just stick to the tart, pinkberry ripoff. I dont even know where all the pinkberrys have gone but I keep seeing more Menchies. If you want a great place to get a fairly lo-cal treat (skip on most of the toppings) and a place the kids will really love, go to Menchies. The one in the Commons is great too!

    (5)
  • Brian S.

I was there last night. Someone needs to stop letting children stick their hands on the dispensers. Gross. Families with children clog up the line so that they can all sample huge amounts of product for free and then buy 1 small amount. Someone needs to be watching what is going on at these machines. Perhaps limiting the samples. I saw a family use at least 15 sample cups, filling them up. Kids coughing and sneezing into the machines is a turn off.

    (1)
  • Syona G.

Love that they change out their flavors often. If you go every other day, I guarantee you'll try something new. :) Don't forget to get a rewards card and a tub of fro yo for later.

    (5)
  • Christine B.

I like this Menchies. It's never packed and close to home. They almost always have good flavors. Even if they don't have something I like, Ill just get plain tart which I'm very happy with. I usually get that anyways. But I really like the peach yogurt. There's a blueberry one it's bright blue, very yummy. The raspberry pomegranate is also good.

I am not a big fan of the Asian inspired cartoons everywhere but I am a big fan of Menchies froyo. This particular location has great indoor and outdoor seating. Accompany that with an excellent froyo product gets Menchie's a good rating from me. Menchie's does a solid job having a consistent product while rotating their flavors frequently. There always seems to be a new flavor I'm excited to try during my visits. Chocolate banana is delish! This self serve froyo is right up there with Yogurtland in taste, quality, and consistency. Prices are fairly reasonable as well. There are many late nights I have the "munchies" and Menchie's is a great way to help with those cravings!

  • Julie H.

This shop is always super-clean, which is a tough feat when people are serving themselves. I don't know where they find their employees, but they are top-notch. They are always friendly and helpful - not your typical sulky teenager that these other places seem to find. They don't have as many flavors as Yogurtland, but they have enough flavors to find something tasty. Plus the toppings look fresh and well-tended to. The only thing I don't recommend is their chocolate-dipped waffle bowls. They look tempting as they are freshly made and only 50 cents extra. Unfortunately they also weigh the bowl which ends up tacking on an extra couple of dollars. If they tasted good it might be worth it on occasion, but when I got it I thought the chocolate tasted very low quality and was definitely not worth the calorie or $ splurge. My only other complaint is some of the people who come here. Most of the time this place is way less hectic than other yogurt joints, but on several occasions I've seen people just let their kids go wild in here. Just because it is self-serve does not mean your 5 year old is able to serve themselves. On more than one occasion I've seen these unattended brats shoving their fingers up the yogurt spout - so gross. Watch your kids and keep them under control. If you shop at Ralph's they usually have Menchie's coupons on the back of the receipts, either $1 off $5 or more or 20% off your order. So come to Menchie's but only if you know how to behave!

OK here. Very clean place. Love all the cute décor. I tried the grape sorbet. YUCK! It was a weird blueish color. Did not tase good at all. Only menchie's where they have fruity pebbles, though.:) Staff was very friendly and was very clean. Not very busy, too. Wonderful.

Yuck! This place is so gross. Every time I come to this place some little kid has their entire boogery hand in one of the toppings! And the staff and parents are oblivious! Also it's about 20 percent over priced. Yuck yuck yuck. No I won't be coming back. The yogurt is not that special, not made with love like it should be.

My boyfriend and I go every weekend because he is addicted to frozen yogurt. The staff is really friendly and greets us and provides great service. The flavors change every week and taste so good. Very clean and quiet.

I give them 4 stars because this Menchies is clean and the staff is awesome. Lots of foot traffic at this location and the toppings and machines don't look picked over or messy. Also open late which is a plus and close to home so when I crave fro-yo I come here. Just wished they have lychees as a topping (hint, hint).

I was starving and stopped by this place. I was anxious to get frozen yogurt and I sampled many flavors. Every flavor had terrible consistency and was watery and disgusting. I had to leave empty handed, hungry and disappointed.

The kids had fun making their own creations, as did I! Plenty of healthy and playful choices to suit every mood and taste.

I always think of Menchie's as the poor-man's Yogurt Land. Not because it's cheaper (I think in some locations its more expensive), but just because it has less flavors and they're not as good and some locations are sort of messy. This location is pretty clean though and has plenty of good options, plus it's still fro-yo, so with all my complaining I still love it.

I am saddened... Because Menchies is my fav fro-yo establishment I hold the place to high standards. This Menchies isn't cutting it for me. I understand that they may be curving their store to valley standards but those ain't up to par with my standards I guess. I didn't see very many exciting flavors to try when I was in, and that's part of my whole excitement for me when at Menchies. Chocolate, yeah, I always get that but I still want to try new an exciting things. Cheese Cake. Original Tart. Cookies & Cream. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Blah, blah, blah. Give me something to yelp about! That's one star knocked down for me. Second one came off when it was time for me to accessorize my fro-yo. We all know that I'm a little fruity when it comes to me and my fro-yo, and there is not much of that going on at this Menchies. So sad. Is that because there was not a demand for it and ya'll kept throwing out tons of fruit!?!? idk but I don't like. Come on people if you want to be fat and lazy go to an Ice Cream store and quit kidding yourself! Okay, I think I've made my unhappy point. Sorry #venting One thing they do have plenty of is Menchies swag which I love. Once I decide to take my love for Menchies to the next level and get some of my own I know where to stop first. Fruit me please! xx

Froyo = frozen yogurt. Since when did four syllables become too much for the American vernacular? Sheesh peeps. Actually, I'm all for linguistic efficiency. I've named all of my pets one syllable names. But, I digress. This place is super clean, the staff is friendly, and while the parking (it's on Ventura. GASP) is somewhat rough, it's worth the ode to individualism. Here, I can pick what I want in my yogurt and how much of it. If I'm willing to spend 25 bucks on blueberries, then I'll stack 'em in my cup. If I'm feeling like paying in gold for pineapple chunks, then those will overfill my cupeth. The skinny (and don't think just because it's froyo, it's healthy. As with salads, it's all in the toppins') *Blueberry/pomegranate - awesome. *Watermelon sorbet - sweet, but not too sweet like a perfectly ripened melon The red velvet is simply not well translated into the yogurt sphere. Too bad too as red velvet anything usually floats my proverbial palate. On a different note, try a strawberry boba or 20. These little orbs of pure tangy deliciousness literally pop in your mouth like a modernized and yummier pop rock!

LOVED this location! There is a fireplace that you can cuddle up by when you are getting chills from the amazing yogurt. LOVE their flavor options... i mixed NSA Angel Food Cake... YUMM and a little touch of banana. LOVE the fat free brownies & SF/fatfree chocolate syrup. Menchie's varies by location. I am claiming this one as mine.

This place will always steal my heart. I have never had a bad experience, and they always change up their flavors on a daily basis! Gotta love variety! Josh is the best employee there, although he hates peanut butter, but that's besides the point. Thanks for the great service! Keep up the good work!

i am utterly impressed! Ive been a loyal fan of yogurtland when they first opened up in fullerton. I rememeber having to drive there purposely JUST to get yogurt. And then the day that they started booming and now you can find yogurt places at every corner. My love for frozen yogurt hasn't been the same as before. I have came to the conclusion that most self serve yogurt places would pretty much be like yogurtland. Until... I discovered MENCHIES Their Kosher.. say WAHHH! awesome?! yes They got some pretty unique and special flavors that taste DELISH. They got such a wide varieties of toppings Waffle bowl for 50cent more? Heck yes With all these options available I couldn't help but turn my healthy cup of yogurt into a guilty pleasure cup of dessert. I havent been impressed by a yogurt shop in awhile until now (:

Yummy for my tummy, but they only had 1 flavor I liked so minus 1 star for boring flavors, and no wafer cookies for toppings!! another minus for that. They had the wafer cone in a cup, but other places has just the cookies to sprinkle as toppings, but not here =( The green apple tart was delicious. So good! The store is very, very clean. They have plenty of toppings, but the bananas were totally going bad (not that I wanted any, but it didn't look good sitting out there). They're open until 11pm which rocks for late night frozen yogurt runs in the freezing cold =). Yay for Menchies!

Where can I even begin? Not only do they have varying (always amazing) flavors of fro-yo, but they have SO many toppings, it's hard to decide what you want on your yogurt. Recently, I've been going with the seasonal pumpkin frozen yogurt (PUMPKIN frozen yogurt!! How cool is THAT??), topped with hot caramel and (omg!) mini cheesecake squares. One of my friends was the first to inform me about these miniature delights, and let me say: I owe a LOT to him--they are God's gift to fro-yo lovers. If you haven't visited this or any Menchie's yet, GO!! What's stopping you?
